Consul General Zhao Weiping Visited University of Notre Dame

On November 24, Chinese Consul General to Chicago Zhao Weiping paid a visit to the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and respectively met with President Rev. John I. Jenkins, Provost Thomas G. Burish, and Vice President and Associate Provost for International J. Nicholas Entrikin. Both sides exchanged views on educational exchanges and cooperation between China and the University of Notre Dame. Following the meetings, Consul General Zhao visited the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center of the University.

The university of Notre Dame was founded in 1842 and ranks in the 16th place in the US News & World Report survey of America's best colleges 2014. There are now more than 12,000 students studying in the University including nearly 500 Chinese students.
