On September 3, Mr. Zhao Weiping, Chinese Consul General to Chicago, met with Mayor of Naperville Steve Chirico in Naperville, Illinois. Consul General Zhao congratulated the mayor on his recent assumption of office and expressed his consistent support for the cooperation between China and Naperville.

        Later, Consul General Zhao attended a roundtable discussion with Mayor Chirico, Mayor of Lisle Joe Broda and nearly 30 representatives from the city's business, educational and cultural communities, during which he briefed them on China's economic situation.
