I wish to congratulate Mayor Hopkins and the City of Muscatine on the opening of this wonderful Sino-US Friendship House. 

      This house was a unique witness to President Xi Jinping's friendship with the people of Muscatine and Iowa, and it will certainly go down in history as a symbol of China-US friendship. 

      From today on, this house will become the first museum in America commemorating the friendship between a Chinese leader and American people. I hope and believe that with the opening of this museum, the message of China-US friendship will reach more people. 

      Here, I want to thank Mayor Hopkins, City Administrator Mandsager, Ms. Sara Lande, China Windows Group Inc. and all the friends for their efforts in making this museum possible. 

      I'm sure this museum will become a new tourism attraction of Muscatine as well as a new platform for people to learn about the exciting stories between China and Muscatine. Thank you.
