Deputy Consul General Liu Jun Lectured on China Foreign Policy at the Wright College

On February 24, at the invitation of Professor Merry Mayer at Wilbur Wright College, Deputy Consul General Liu Jun lectured on Chinese foreign policy for the senior students majoring in international relations. About 20 students and faculty members were present at the lecture.

Liu started with a brief description of Chinese history, culture and current socio-economic development, and illustrated China's foreign policy with many specific examples. In conclusion, he stressed that China would adhere to peaceful development, committed to building partnership and forging a new type of international relations of win-win cooperation. China would uphold justice and pursue shared interests, build a community of common destiny for all mankind and firmly pursue an independent foreign policy. During the Q&A, Liu gave his views on TPP, Sino-US relations, China's soft power and polar development, etc.
