Consul General Hong Lei Visits U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell's District Office

On August 30, Consul General Hong Lei visited U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell's district office in Dearborn, Michigan and met with District Director Jason Morgan.

Consul General Hong Lei briefed Director Morgan on China-Michigan and China-US relations. He said that deepening exchanges and cooperation between China and the US enhances mutual understanding and trust and brings the two peoples tangible benefits, which is in line with the common interests of both sides. The Consulate General would like to further strengthen its communication with Congresswoman Dingell and her district office to jointly promote Michigan's relations with China so as to push forward China-US relations.

Mr. Morgan introduced the cooperation and exchanges between Congresswoman Dingell's constituency and China. He said that Congresswoman Dingell attaches importance to US-China relations and supports continued development of US-China relations. The district office would like to keep in touch with the Consulate General.
