Consul General Hong Lei Meets with White County Economic Development Organization President Randy Mitchell from Indiana

On November 29, Consul General Hong Lei met with Randy Mitchell, President of White County Economic Development Organization of Indiana, in Chicago.

President Mitchell introduced to the Consul General about the Mid-America Commerce Park located in White County and the beautiful scenery, rich tourism and leisure resources in the county. He said that, with its strong economic development and a large number of high-quality labor force, he hoped that more Chinese enterprises and Chinese tourists could come to the county. White County welcomes Chinese students at Indiana universities such as Purdue University to integrate into the White County community and deepen the friendship with the local people.

Consul General Hong Lei expressed his appreciation to White County for its commitment to developing economic and trade cooperation and people-to-people and cultural exchanges with China. He expressed that the Consulate General would keep close communication with White County and promote exchanges and pragmatic cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, education and culture between China and White County.

Larry Ingraham, President of Ingraham & Associates, INC, Cai Liping, Professor at Purdue University, and Counselor Zou Xiaoming, Commercial Consul at the Consulate General were present at the meeting.
