Acting Consul General Kun Lu Attended the Opening Ceremony of the Photo Exhibition in Commemoration of China's 1911 Revolution

On December 21, 2011, Acting Consul General Kun Lu attended the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Gaze & Dialogue, Chicago/Wuhan" in commemoration of China's 1911 Revolution, held in Primitive gallery, Chicago. Deputy Director General of Publicity Department of Hubei Provincial CPC Committee Mr. Chen Liansheng, President of Primitive gallery Mr. Glen Joffe and distinguished guests from greater Chicago, totaling around 100 people, participated in the event.

In his opening remarks, Kun Lu highlighted the importance of Xinhai Revolution, saying it was an epoch-making revolution in Chinese modern history. He hoped that this exhibition would served as an window to showcase China and promote the friendship between peoples of China and the United States. Other VIP guests also expressed their positive view on the event and wished to push forward Sino-American cultural exchange.

Consul and Director of Cultural Affairs of the Chinese Consulate Mr. Zongguang Guo attended the event.
